Heather’s son, Tyler Randal Gibbs is an American professional stock car racing driver who competes full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. He drives the No. 54 Toyota Supra for his grandfather’s team Joe Gibbs Racing.

Tylee Randall Gibbs also drives part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, where he is seen driving the No. 23 Toyota Camry for 23XI Racing. Tyler Gibbs was the 2021 ARCA Menards Series champion.

Heather’s husband Coy Randall Gibbs was a well-known American NASCAR driver. He was an assistant coach with the Washington Redskins, and also a co-owner of Joe Gibbs Racing.

Coy Gibbs was the son of the popular Joe Gibbs whose name the racing team is named and he doubles as the grandfather of Tyler Gibbs, five-time NASCAR Cup Series championship-winning owner and Pro Football Hall of Famer. Joe Gibbs is Heather Gibbs’ in-law.
