Young Liza started performing from the age of three, it is safe to say performing is in her DNA. At 18 years, she was touring with her mother, she was amazing as a live performer.
This led her to record some of her songs Liza! Liza!, Liza Minnelli, The Singer and Tropical Nights. Her songs were traditional pop and highly successful.
Minnelli starred in the film version of Cabaret, which earned her an Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Leading Role. She guest starred in Law and Order: Criminal Intent and Sex and the City 2.

Liza Minnelli suffered a serious case of viral encephalitis in 2000, she was told she would spend the rest of her life in a wheelchair and probably never speak again.
Thankfully, she made a full recovery and went on performing. Liza is still very much alive although she is taking things slow.
In the 2022 Academy Award ceremony, she was on stage in a wheelchair with Lady Gaga, it was later confirmed she had back pains but the 76-year-old singer is doing very well.
