Mofeed Fawzy was one of the famous media personalities in Egypt who was very well-recognized as the producer and presenter of Hadeeth Al-Madena (Talk of the Town) television show for about 26 years. Mofeed Fawzy was also the co-host of Al-Qahira Al-Youm which is being aired on El Yawm, a channel on Orbit TV.

Mofeed Fawzy was born on 19 June 1933 in Beni Suef Governorate, Egypt. Fawzy was the son of Fawzy Saad who worked at the Ministry of Health.

Mofeed Fawzy was married to deceased broadcaster Amal El-Omdah. It is currently known when Fawzy and Amal had their nuptials. Fawzy had an only child with Amal who is by the name of Hanan Mofeed Fawzy, who is also a journalist, poet, and writer.
