Judd formed a singing duo with her daughter Wynonna in 1983, they were in country music’s top 20 for eight consecutive years. While they were together, the duo won five Grammy awards including the Country Song of the Year Grammy for writing “Love Can Build a Bridge. Sadly the group broke in 1991 when Judd was diagnosed with hepatitis C.
Judd went into acting and television host, appearing in shows like Can You Duet and My Kitchen Rules. She also authored books like “Naomi’s Guide to Aging Gratefully: Facts, Myths, and Good News for Boomers”.
