Is Zelenskyy Still Alive or Dead?

Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy is a Ukrainian politician and former comedian actor who has served as the sixth and current president of Ukraine since 2019. His profile has been raised for the way he has handled the Russian’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

Zelenskyy was born to Jewish parents on 25 January 1978 in the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. He attended Kryvyi Rih Institute of Economics where he graduated with a degree in law.

He always had interest in performing and in 2008 he starred in the feature film Love in the Big City. He starred in other films before he got his breakthrough role as the president of Ukraine in the television series, Servant of the People.

Zelenskyy announced his candidacy for president of Ukraine on 31 December 2018. On 21 April 2019, he received 73 per cent of the vote to incumbent president Petro Poroshenko’s 25 per cent and was elected President of Ukraine.

Zelenskyy has been praised by a majority of people for the manner he has handled the Russian invasion by rallying and encouraging the troops, soliciting support for the West and Europe. He has largely been seen as a pillar of hope for Ukrainians.

President Zelenskyy is alive and working with his Armed Forces to push Russia out of Ukraine. There has been reports of being a target of Russian assassination’s plan but there has been no evidence.
