'It's not easy for female artists in the Ghana music industry, please play our songs' - Akiyana

Ghana’s most talented female Dancehall diva, Akiyana is pleading with the Ghanaian masses and the world at large to play music released by the female artists because they are really going through hell in the music game.

The ‘Nobody Bad’ hit-maker in a video she shared via her Instagram handle voiced out the pain some female musicians go through in the music industry especially in Ghana.

She pleaded with the top dogs and opposites to play their songs so as they also make a living and as well raise the flag of Ghana high.

Akiyana really said the fact.

Ghana music industry is much more centered towards the male stars as against their opposite gender.

That makes it very difficult for the female stars to stand out.
