Volta Media Excellence Awards seeks to acknowledge hardworking media personalities and industry players in the Volta Region of Ghana. This is the very first edition of the awards scheme organized by Edy’s Promotions.
He was given the nod in the MALE PRESENTER OF THE YEAR and the DRIVETIME HOST OF THE YEAR categories.
In the Male Presenter of the Year category, Polymath Agbanyo faces stiff competition with Doctor Jay from Tosh FM, Viku Bright(Dj Flavour) of Victory FM, Kelly Kodieh(Flexal) of Swiss FM, Emmanuel M.G. Agbedu of Sela Radio, Mawutor Midorse of Freedom FM, King James of Swiss FM, and Wisdom Simon Afriyie of Revival FM.
Sir Poly Gee as he’s also known battles out with DJ Kiss of Freedom FM, Nana Yaw Boateng of Look FM, DJ Kross of Sela Radio, Dr. Censis of Tosh FM, DJ Mack of Radio Tongu and Kudzo-Norsah Moses(Dj Banzy) of Revival FM in the DRIVETIME HOST OF THE YEAR category.

He’s the Host of Late Afternoon Drive on Ho FM 92.5 christened Drive925 which happens to be a standard local drive with the much Ewe explicit content drives the whole city of Ho like an Airbus A380, weekdays from 2:00 – 5:00 pm.
