Shatta Wale organises Church service on Twitter


#ChurchWithShatta is trending number 1 on Ghanaian Twitter. This got us curious about why this particular hashtag has taken the lead above others.

Well, upon checks, we realised that #ChurchWithShatta is all about a church server organized by African Dancehall King, Shatta Wale for his followers on Twitter.

Shatta Wale has decided to hold an online church service since there’s ban on church gatherings as a precautionary step to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.

He preached to his followers about the need for them to have hope that amidst all these worries of Coronavirus, we shall get past it all.

His reading was taken from 1 Peter 5:10: “And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.”

After his service, he gave a closing prayer:

“Heavenly Father, I cme b4 you this day to cleanse and forgv me. So That I can See That Sign of Hope, that sign of progress, that sign for a great future, Without you I am Nobody. Father I know I am Not Lost, You Found and Brought me on this earth for a purpose #ChurchWithShatta”
