List of Top 5 Most Googled Ghanaian Celebrities have been unveiled by Google Trends.

This year, Wendy Shay came first beating other A-List musicians such as Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, King Promise and Kwesi Arthur.

The female musician came on the scene barely 8 months ago.

However, the controversies surrounding her brand has made her to be the most searched for on Google.

Talk of her ‘rashes infected backside saga’, her alleged sleeping with Bullet also made the headline for days before it turned out to be for publicity stunt.

More so, reports of her copying Ebony’s brand and issues of song theft also projected her name to be searched by people.

Nevertheless, her dumb question saga where she told MzGee that she asked a dumb question all brought about a lot of back-and-forth debates online.

So all these while, people were busily searching her out. All these made her to top the list.

2. Shatta Wale

There’s no single day in Ghana that Shatta Wale’s name won’t be mentioned in the headlines.

His many song releases also caused fans to keep searching for him on Google.

More so, his much talked about Gringo music video also caused a spike in how people search about him.

5. Stonebwoy

Nevertheless, there have been back and forth beefs as usual between him and Shatta Wale…so this caused people to search more on him.

His collaboration with Asamoah Gyan on Dirty Enemies song and also ‘Obia Wone Master’ with Yaa Pono were searched by a lot of people on Google.

Thus, making people to search him more.
