Lee Majors is an American actor. He was nicknamed the “Bionic Man” for his role in the science fiction series The Six Million Dollar Man which aired from 1973 to 1978.
Born Harvey Lee Yeary on April 23, 1939. He was adopted by his Uncle after his parents died when he was two years old. He attended Eastern Kentucky University where he graduated in 1962 with a degree in history.
He started acting in 1965 when he got the role of Heath Barkley in the television show The Big Valley. In 1973, he got the role of Colonel Steve Austin in the show The Six Million Dollar Man, the show was an instant hit airing in 70 countries.
Lee starred in hits movies over the years like Keaton’s Cop, Big Fat Liar, Ben 10: Race Against Time and G.I. Joe: Renegades.
