Limbaugh was born on January 12, 1951, into the prominent political Limbaugh family. He played football while attending Cape Girardeau Central High School and he moved on to Southeast Missouri State University but dropped out after two semesters.
In 1971, Limbaugh started working as a Disc Jockey at a gospel radio station, WIXZ. By the early 1980s, he moved to KFBK in Sacramento, California where he started airing his political opinions. Limbaugh made his way into television and grew his career as an influential Republican commentator. He was quite a controversial figure making outrageous comments on Race, Chelsea Clinton, and President Obama.
